JOY & SAM’S WEDDING 2019

When Jo came to me for her dress she had some amazing inspiration to draw from. She had a design that her husband to be Sam had designed incorporating the solar systems unique configuration of their match between the sun, moon and stars. We used this design to inspire the embroidery for Joys cape and bespoke dress.

Such an exciting design, I created a fine silk tulle cape embroidered with the emblem. It was embroidered using specialist silver and palest gold thread and swarovski crystal stones to go over a pale satin powder blue silver crepe. It had thousands of little stars and sead beads beaded to catch the light.

During the process of Joy having her dress made she found out she was joyfully expecting. We adjusted the design to incorporate a growing bump! The end result was a gown and cape that reflected her unique style and union on their big day!
